 Freewrite:

What I am thinking about right now is why people have to be so stupid and follow others people. If beauty is categorized, there will definitly be someone whol will feel as if they are not beautiufl because not everyone is the same, therefore not everyone will be able to meet the standards of the society. This is what continues to happen today, many individuals are being degraded because they are not like "them" or they are not "skinny" or "hot". If we do not have a certain bag or pair of shoes, we will be considered "ugly" in a sense because we are not following what the society believes makes someone beautiful. This whole idea seems sooo ridiculus to me. I really liked that we read a book about beauty in Ms. Kumar's class because it really made me think about my own ideas and perception of what I thought was beautiful. At the end, the conclusion that I came up with was that it could be anything, its just a matter of opinion. 

This music video that I saw from a friend the other day really made me think as well about beauty. It was sooo interesting. "BOBO" showed me a video called 'stupid girls' by pink and I really like the way that they showed how the media brainwashes us from a very young age to believe and think a certain way about things. Thats all for now.
