My New Years Resolutions
My Main New Years resolutions are as follows:
-Cut down on my daily sugar intake. (That will be a BIG challenge..)
-Start baking healthier alternatives, but making them taste just as good as the original.
-Learn how to eat in moderation.
-START PLAYING SPORTS AGAIN.
-Start engaging in community service activities.

Dear Rudolph,
I read your post and it inspired me to make my own new years resolution.
One sentence you wrote that stands out for me the most is "Start engaging in community service activities". I think this is great well actually I know it is. I was apart of a program called world vision for two years.I had a blast those two years.
Thanks for your writing. I look forward to seeing what you write next, because you just made me want to make a change since its a new year i can leave all the bad behind keep up the good work.

I have actually been making a lot of progress with my new years resolutions. I have started playing tennis again, and I have also added 8 hours to my community service. I have also been practicing on the art of eating in moderation, and this, along with my weekly exercise is actually starting to pay off--I'm feeling much better and healthier. I have also been starting to bake lower-fat and alternatives to the baked goods that I make in my free time. They DO taste just as good as the original in fact. One thing that I should, however, pay more attention to is cutting down on my daily sugar intake. I just learned that teens are only supposed to have 28 grams of sugar a day. That's about the equivalent of only a small handful of gummy bears--it's crazy! Other than that however, I think that I have been making pretty good progress with my new years resolutions.
