My Role Model

My Role Model shall remain nameless, only because he would kill me if he found out that I had written his name on this post which could be seen by everyone on Youth Voices. However what I can tell you is that my role model is like nobody else. He is a great guy, does great things, and is someone that anyone could talk to and learn something from him. My role model is like a brother that everybody wants to have, and those that do meet him are intrigued and impressed with the type of guy he is. I have had the pleasure of knowing him essentially since I was born, and is is probably one of the more influential people in my life. Although most of my guy friends are great, none compare with him. The memories I share with my role model surpass the memories I have with anybody else.

However what I have been asked to do is to write a response on how I would feel if my role model decided to be celibate or abstinent. Although I have never given this situation any thought at all, I would have to say that it would affect me and the decisions that I made. What he does is his business and is what he believes is best for him. His choice more than likely wouldn't make me decide to join the same path he took. If my role model decided to dye his hair pink, I would not follow him. My role model attends college at an Ivy league school, however his school choice would not weigh in on my decision. A lot of what I know or have learned is from my role model, however the things I took away from him were not necessarily life choices that he decided to make.
