My school year reflection

As the school year comes to an end, I feel as if I should’ve worked harder, I feel like I did average. I could say I have and haven’t met my goals, because I handed most of my work late, and I let my work pile up, But I felt a bit good about my average per quarters. I’ve set goals for next year, like handing my work on time, focusing more on school, and get higher grades than this school year.
My experience in this class has been really good, I learned a lot as a writer, and have improved my writing. One reason why I enjoyed this class was because we go to write on Youthvoices.com. Something that I’ve learned that I find valuable is comas and semi colon, because it helped me a lot this year to separate two independent clauses, dependent clause. Something that I will carry with me into my future as a student is MLA format, because it helps me write a more professional paper, and more organized. These things matter to me because I’m always going to need to write in life and I don’t want to write unprofessionally; I want to write well written papers.
One change I’ve seen in myself is that I have been able to write longer papers, and write with more details. I’ve grown because I now know how to write better sentences. I have noticed others have improved their writing as well. These changes will help me to achieve my goals because I will write better written papers when needed. I think I now like writing more after being in writing class, I find it to be interesting to write about different topics for people to read. This I believe to be true: After doing something for a long period of time, people seem to adapt to it and enjoy it.
