I have just watched the speech that President Obama gave in Cario. I think that the speech was a inspiring one, although it does not redicate our past history with Islam, I believe its sooths the conflictive relationship between Western countries and Islam. Although it is difficult to forget the attack in 9/11 done my extremist, it is a start to building a mutal relation based upon respect. One thing that I must strongly disagree with is Barack Obamas intentions in remaing allied with Isalites. He said and I quote " this bound is unbreakable "," presicuted for centuries" , so in other words we must feel pity for jews because of a holocaust that was committed almost 90 yrs ago but what about the crimes being replicated on palestinians. We are supporting the genocide of millions of muslims. He wants to build a bound between Islam and America but how can we do this if we continue to support Israel with ammunition. Weapons that are being targeted towards thousands of muslims. We do not owe jews anything, we were not the masterminds behind their holocaust. But we are the supporters of the killing of millions . I speak for all the people who agree with me, the American government has inspired lots of enemies. Obama is trying to reconstruct a relationship with Islam but is not acknowledging the anger we are prokoing for palestinians. It angers me and perhaps terrorist attackes could have been avoided with just our moral support towards the men, women and children who are innocent of all crimes. Palestinians only crime is to have lived in a a piece of land for thousands of years. A piece of land mass that is now being savagly proclaimed by the jewish population.
