My Top Two Intelligences

My top two intelligences are verbal-linguistic and visual-spatial. Naturally, I love English and I do admit that I do well in English class at school, therefore, that contributes to the reason as to why I think verbal-linguistic is one of my top two intelligences. People who are verbal-linguistic are better learners if reading, taking notes, listening to lectures, and discussion and debate is involved. Honestly, I LOVE DEBATING, having discussions as a whole, taking notes, and reading. Because I feel I am verbal-linguistic, I tend to do better in Spanish class because those who are have an easier time learning foreign langauges. Another intelligence I have is visual-spatial. Visual-spatial intelligence is an intelligence where people are good at visualizing and picturing things in their heads. Now, I have photographic memory and because I do, it helps me visualize things easily and just by looking at it, I learn rather quickly. Recently, by being visual-spatial, I solved a puzzle with ease just by looking at the picture.

One intelligence I struggle at the most is musical. I love music but this semester, I have been taking music class and I honestly thought I was going to do really well in it. I have tried to do my best in that class by paying attention and listening to everything the teacher had to say. But I have learned nothing. I do sing, I do play musical instruments, and I have tried composing music but I don't think I can learn something academic if music was involved. When I do homework, I prefer silence because it helps me concentrate better. Because I feel like I have an advantage from taking music class, I tried to play according to what the teacher taught, but I failed because I couldn't understand it clearly. But just because I have trouble with this specific intelligence doesn't mean I will completely give up on it. I will try my best to involve this intelligence in my personal project by trying to do it with music in the background and try involving something that has to do with music along with my personal project.
