Mysterious Beginning for The Curious Incident of the Dog in the Night-Time

I just started in The Curious Incident of the Dog in the Night-Time by Mark Haddon,  and I thought it was very interesting because it was a very mysterioous beginning. I always like to read a mysterious beginning such as this one and I thought it was very awesome just to read it. I like the way the book makes me feel, as if though I was there witnessing the whole incident or even just put myself in the main character's shoes.

One line from this part of the book that stands out for me is: "It was 7 minutes after midnight. The dog was lying on the grass in the middle of the lawn in front of Mrs. Shears's house."  I think that this sentence was very mysterious and with just this sentence the suspension was already brought up. I like the way the book is written because I get a picture in mind about this incident being late in the night and seeing a dead body of a dog in someone's yard.

Another line that I find interesting: "I do not like people shouting at me. It makes me scared that they are going to hit me or touch me and I do not know what is going to happen." This stood out for me because I feel that when people install this kind of fear through their scream I can experience the same thing. First of all, I do not like it when people scream at me for no reasona and if so, they have to explain themselves. I guess I just despise screaming because it's annoying and I don't need anymore than what I get at home (sometimes).

This section The Curious Incident of The Dog In The Night-Time reminds me of something in the news. You always hear about how people get murdered and killed at the same time. I hear this in the news every day and it makes me feel like the world is not safe out there, but I just can't let this fear get the best of me because then I wouldn't be able to live my life. I think that no one should be scared of things that happen in the news, just be a little more aware of their surroundings.

What's probably going to happen next is that Christopher is going to the police station with the officer and he is going to be in a whole deal of trouble after they call his parents up. I think he might get the blames for killing the dog since all his DNA was probably on the dog after he held it.

I am looking forward to reading the rest of this book because I find it very supensful and I would like to know what's going to happen next in the book. I feel that this book is going to get better and better as I read more of it ^.^
