Nature
Flowers that show life is filled with color and beauty.
Bees that roam to feed themselves in pollen.
Trees that give us oxygen and shade from the sun.
Everything in nature has a meaning to us.
And that yellow flower is my desire to be the one who contiues to give life
like a never ending cycle called nature.

Amazing Flower
Thanks for this poem about Nature because I enjoyed it. You add different elements to your poem that make it sound great. I really like your use of imagery. This literary element helped me to picture the flower that you were depicting. You emphasized that everything in nature has a meaning to people and I strongly agree with this. Nature is everything in this Earth and people do not treat as equal.
I did some research into these flowers and I found the Common Buttercup or Ranunculus acris has been used in two different ways. First, the Common Buttercup flower is known around the world. This species grows in parts of Europe, Eurasia, North America and Australia.
“Tall buttercup is a European species that has spread throughout North America, typically found in pastures and meadows and sometimes woodlands and coastal areas. Unlike the low-growing creeping buttercup, tall buttercup does not spread by stolons, just by seed, and is upright not creeping.” (www.kingcounty.gov “Tall Buttercup.” May 31, 2011.)
The flower is also can sometimes affect colonized animals and impact livestock. Impact to livestock is toxic, making them suffer from salivation, skin irritation, blisters and abdominal distress. “The main impact is to livestock. Fresh buttercup plants are toxic to grazing animals, who can suffer from salivation, skin irritation, blisters, abdominal distress, inflammation, and diarrhea. Fortunately, buttercup has a strong, bitter taste so animals generally try to avoid it if more palatable forage is available.” (www.kingcounty.gov “Tall Buttercup.” May 31, 2011.)
There seems to be some evidence that this flower can spread through a variety of methods. Tall buttercup is a perennial flower. “Tall buttercup spreads only by seed and is a short-lived perennial. It blooms from late May to September and is pollinated by a variety of insects. Seeds are dispersed by wind, birds, farm animals, small rodents, clothes and tires. Seed germination is usually in spring and generally requires open soil.” (www.kingcounty.gov)
All of this inspires me to write a poem in response to your poem:
Nature to me is more than just flowers.
It is also animals, human beings, oceans and forests.
Nature is the way we behave as living organisms.
It is the greed, kindness and love.
Nature is survival of the fittest.
The same concept we use in our materialistic world.
Nature is the destructive natural disasters.
Tsunamis, earthquakes, and tornadoes.
Nature is us coming together and rebel against corruption.
Egypt, Bahrain, Tunisia, and Yemen.
Nature is to destroy the system.
End poverty, world hunger, destruction of our environment.
But we can’t do this alone.
Together, we can persevere against the cycle of evil economics and corrupt governments.
It is nature to just its course, so let’s do this!
