Nature in New York

I am exploring my theme nature. I am interested in this because I find that working with nature in photo shop and in digital photography is the most interesting because you can work with it the best.

I took the first photograph, and you can see all the leaves take up the entire frame. I know that I took this photo during the day, and that I meant to take the picture up close so you could see the detail on the leaves. My interpretation of this photograph is that you feel like your right there with the leaves, surrounded by them. It has been said that one image is worth a thousand words. This could be true about this picture because there are so many different aspects to look at. It reflects my theme in that the leaves make me think i took the picture in the woods or somewhere else other than a street corner in New York. One thing that I know about nature is that it's beautiful when captured right. One thing that I wonder about capturing the right photo is what are the different angles I can use to make my pictures interesting. This makes me think of other nature aspects and that in my next photo I'd like to find something more original in nature.

The second image was created by Maeve I got it from http://www.flickr.com/photos/42543805@N07/4044305789/in/pool-youthvoices. In this image, I see trees full of leaves. I know that this must have been hard to capture because there aren't many trees in Manhattan. My interpretation of this image is that it feels like you're actually where this was taken and you're looking up at the trees.

The second image relates to my pictures because they both have to do with nature. As I look at this and other images, my next image will feel like you're looking at something from a certain angle also. If I were to look up some information about my theme/topic, I would like to know more about where to take a great picture like this.

Since you are reading this post, I would like to ask you what you think is the most interesting angle for a picture to be taken of.
