The Nazis are back!

A party entitled Golden Dawn, an openly neo-nazi faction of the far right won 7% of the vote and 21 parlimentary seats in Greece's pre-election lat Sunday. Nobody is legitimately concerned about the party actually winning enough support to actually win the final elections, but the fact that they gained enough support to be recognized is no doubt a reflection of the economic turmoil in Greece and throughout Europe. Ironically, Germany, the birthplace of the nazi party, is the one country in Europe stable enough to actually be paying off it's defecit, and is currently the only economy keeping the rest of Europe from defaulting out of the Euro. Despite Germany's relative stability, Greece may be the the first country in the European Union to default. As with any country in a time of crisis, the parties which gain support are not the moderates, but both extremes of left and right-hence how the nazis came into view again.
