When a famous musician such as Katy Perry or Lady Gaga releases an album, they usually have one popular song on it that the public absolutely loves. However, a few months later they release a "new" song. What people don't realize, is that these "new" songs are usually on the artist's original album. For example, radio stations are saying that Lady Gaga has a new song out called "Marry the Night". This song was on Gaga's album Born This Way which came out in March of this year. The song has been out for 8 months but it is just now becoming popular. The same goes for Katy Perry's "new" song "The One that Got Away". This song has been out since August 2010! That's more than a year! This is just another way for music artists to stay in the media without having to work for it. Don't get me wrong, I love the music, but saying this music is "new" is just wrong.
