Nightmare on Elm Street

I recently saw the movie “Nightmare in elm street”.  Having seen this movie, I know who the actors and actresses are.  What I don’t know about this movie is where it was filmed and who wrote the original story on which this movie is based.

After reading on wikepedia.com, I found out that the movie was based on a book by Wesley Strike .  In the article, the writer states that “Wesley was approached to write both the film's screenplay abounding the things that made the character less scary the film's .  Freddy Krueger would not be "cracking jokes" of his character in later films and focusing more on trying to craft a "horrifying movie" .  The article did not go into a lot of detail about other details of the movie.

After reading this article, I found out more about the story an how the the movie was taken an how the book was made before. An how the movie was made. It was a good an scary movie a lot of this pop out at you to make it intense.
