No Jobs
Having been born into an Apple family, I am quite saddened by the event that happened on October 5. As many know, Steve Jobs, the former CEO of Apple Computers, was announced dead. This is a big deal to me because I have grown up with Apple products and have grwon to have a major respect for the company. My friend even called and asked me if we were mourning at our home since Jobs had died; we didn't even know by the time she had called.
I am mostly sad about Jobs' death due to the fact that we have lost a brilliant mind and incredible innovator. A CNN article quotes Apple, "Steve's brilliance, passion and energy were the source of countless innovations that enrich and improve all of our lives," Apple said in a statement. "The world is immeasurably better because of Steve." And I would have to agree. Although people may say technology is ruling our lives, it has been and immense impact on our lives whether that be for better or worse, and I mostly thank Jobs for that. He came up with so many new, useful, and creative products that much of the world is using as I write this. He has made an impact that is immeasurable and I am sad to see him go.

dear syd rich,
I agree with you about steve jobs. if it wasnt for him then we would never have an upgrade on our computer system.
one sentences that i can pull out that stood out for me is The world is immeasurably better because of Steve. because he designed apple and vmost of the new devices today like the ipad.
another sentences that stood out for me was Although people may say technology is ruling our lives.
in that sentences i dont agree because the technology is useful to many and just incase of emergency.
i agree with you because steve jobs was helpful for many years and its said that he had to leave us like that.
i thank you for expressing your feeling about steve jobs and how successful he was to our society.
