No Turning Back Now
Maria Robinson once said “Nobody can go back and start a new beginning, but anyone can start today and make a new ending.” This quote was a very strong belief and an uplifted for me. This is a person that is very positive and always comes out on top at the end of any bad situation. My interpretation of this quote is that once you started on a path that might have been on the wrong path, then all you can do is start walking towards the right path for a better ending. I am a type of person that can relate to this quote. I always complain about how I would love to build a time machine so that I can change the hands of time to fix any mistake, but then I’d come back to reality and see that all I can do now is make them better because the damage has already been done.
High School as had it highs and lows for me. If I could start over then it would be a breeze because I would had a better understanding and not have second thoughts about anything I ever did. I’ve met up with some of my expectations for myself and some of them are not where I want them to be. At times I’d say “I give up, I can’t do it, it just not for me “and other times I can say “I can take this head on, I accept this challenge”. At times it can work out for the good and at times it won't work out at all. Some ways that I hope to overcome this is if I keep up with the positive energy and just not be afraid to ask for help. Things that I have no problem with is being very interactive and helpful , some things I have problems with is staying focused I like to look ahead into the future of the benefits of what I’m doing instead of looking dead on what I’m suppose to do at that moment.
Now I feel that I have a opportunity to do what right and learn from my past and move forward from that. I have an opportunity; mainly in school and how things can come out better for me. I see how studying see passing test handing work on time can all benefactor you if you just stay on task. All things these will help me to clean up my act and make a whole new beginning for myself that way, as the quote say, I can start today and make a new ending.
In conclusion I've learned that bettering myself now , also betters me for my future and though people have told me this many times before I still had to find out the hard way so that I can stop myself before I got any worse . It has shown that I now can say that I’ve learned from my mistakes and will try as much as I can to not make the same ones again.
