Number The Stars by Lois Lowry

Number the Stars was a very fast read and I enjoyed it very much. The book is mostly about the struggles and adventures of a girl named Annemarie Johansen, during the holocaust. The story took place somewhere near 1943 and she lived life in Copenhagen with her family. Ellen, her best friend, moved in with the them, the Johansens, and pretends to be part of their family. Soon Annemarie goes on a dangerous mission to save Ellen's life. I thought this book was a page turner, and it showed the strong friendship and bravery of people during war. I personally enjoy reading books about the holocaust because I find them interesting. Overall, I would recommend this book and its was really inspiring.
