Drugs or marijuana shouldn't be taken at all for any reasons. So many people fall under peer pressure and that should not happen because you should not listen to someone else opinions, you should always listen to your own. Why would people break the law. People are doing the dumbest things these days and they are getting arrested for it. There were 40,000 arrests made in 2007 because of people who do marijuana. Why would people want to get arrested just for that one reason, which they choose not to do it or not. If people wouldn't have done it their would be less arrests made. People need to understand and rethink about what they are doing first.
It's not just the sheriff in South Carolina where Phelps partied who enforces marijuana laws. In New York City, there were nearly 40,000 marijuana-related arrests in 2007, according to Harry Levine, a Queens College professor who studies marijuana arrest rates. He said other cities with high rates of marijuana arrests include Atlanta, Baltimore, Philadelphia, Cleveland, San Antonio, Minneapolis and Omaha, Neb.
