people fighting and fire in the surburban

July's People: Hoes are hung from the roof. There were nasty smells of stored grain in baskets and people were fierced and really tempted to fight each other at the airport for no reason at all. As well as this motar fires were heard by people and many reporters were confused. Also the gasworks were attacked and many explosions occured and started a huge fire in the suburban houses.

I am liking July's People by Nadine Gordimer because so many interesting things have been going on as well as also many weird things. People are fighting for no reason as well. An example of what I mean is on page 25.  "There were fierce fighting round Jan Smuts Airport, the city centre, under martial law, had been quiet last night." I think this is interesting because why would these people fight anyways, it is under the law and stuff, arent they afraid to get arrested? Why are these people fighting anyways. I don't get the point of why these people would fight, why dont just all these people get along with each other.

Something interesting happens on page 25 where it says: "The gasworks had been attacked and the explosion had started a fire that spread to the suburban houses." This is a important point in the plot because this is really dangerous as well since the gasworks got destroyed and it is creating fires into houses. By fires destroying down house people will lose their homes and then people wont have anywhere to live in and it is just really sad.

So far, the plot in July's People reminds me of a story in the news. What happened was once in the news their was a huge fire in one of those houses and people were trying to get out before they dont get hurt, but their was still one person inside and couldnt get out. The fire was getting bigger and bigger and the firefighters tried to stop it. The person was trapped in there and the firefighter went to rescue that person. Luckily the person was saved with no major injuries but little scars and bruises.

I am looking forward to reading the rest of this book because I want to find out what the people are going to do about all this situation and problems that are going on and I want to know what is happening with all these issues going on. What's probably going to happen next is people were divided into many different categories. People were categorized of work or either rest. People had to work really long hours and they had to work really hard to earn their money. People were really violence and people were violence in even trying to get their work done. People just need to cooperate with one another and be nice.
