People wasting money on drugs!!
People are wasting so much money on drugs:
A lot of people are wasting their money on useless stuff like drugs.Drugs is something that are killing your body and stuff and it is going to destroy your whole life if you don't take care of it. People are using overdose of drugs. Money should be saved and not wasted on useless things like drugs.
One quote that stood out to me was: "Washington state spends more than 15 percent of its budget coping with problems due to tobacco, alcohol and drug abuse, according to a new study."
I cant believe that Washington spends so much more than 15% just copying problems due to tobacco, alcohol and drug abuse.Tobacco, alcohol, and drug abuse is just a waste of money and people are wasting so much money on these useless things that are not going to even help them in life at all. They should be saving their money and using it on something valuable instead of something not important like drugs which can kill your body. People are facing so many problems and they do not see that in themselves.
Another quote that stood out for me was: "A new state-by-state survey by the U.S. Substance Abuse and Mental Health Services Administration shows Rhode Island has the highest rate of illicit drug use in the country for the 12 and older age group."
I think kids are doing the wrong thing. Young kids are doing drugs and they are just ruining their own life and they should notice what they are doing to themselves. Why are kids doing drugs at such a young age? People are influencing these young age groups to do it and they are following it because they think it is something good to do and that it helps you to relax and calm your body. I can not believe that it has the highest rate of illicit drugs. Parents are also a bad influence on their kids and no matter how much we tell them to quit and stuff they are not going to do it.
Drugs are pointless and it destroys peoples lives. People dont understand that they are killing themselves and that if they are gone, the people that love them the most are hurt and can not live without them and stuff. People need to understand who they are hurting in their life.

Drugs are a problem is our schools and in the everyday life in New York. But the people that put money into drugs is their choice. People in search of different things or people that have problems sometimes rely on drugs, and then depend on them.
The drug cycle is one that touched alot of people and will continue to expand. But with all due respect, I dont think the way people spend their money should be any of your concern. The money they spend, helps the dealer live. Its the circle of life.

Drugs make the world go round!!! It is an essential part of our economy!!!
With the legalization of marijuana, our economy would make enough money off topics to reboost the economy.
Also, I agree with 11godardg about the drug circle of life. It just makes sense!!!
One last thing, people should inform themselves about the real effects of marijuana. Its not as bad as the media portrays it.

Drugs are very bad if you want them to be or they can be good. Drugs do allow a great circulation of money. It all about a matter of opinion. Drugs do waste people's time you make your self "weaker" when you take them but usually the people taking them are aware of this.

I agree with 11gonzaleze. Drugs can either help you or destroy you but in most causes it ruins people. Drugs are good because they keep the economy going. People spend money on drugs and then for doctors to help them when they get sick. It is also sometimes good for medical use but only when doctors pescribe it to you. But other then that i believe that drugs are bad for you. They kill you're brain cells and can make you extremly sick. They affect people's thinking and how they act physically by making them slower to reactions and a bit dumber. At first most teens think that it won't affect them but over time, depending how often they used it, it can affect them really badly. Overall drugs prevetn most teens from particaipating in other activties because they don't have time or they get kicked out because of their drug use. Drugs are also bad because they ruin people and their families. If someone is a drug addict they're family is affected by this because then that persopn uses most of the money to buy drugs. One example is if a mother is addicted to drugs. She'll spend more time and money on buying and smoking the drug then paying atention to her kids. She'll also spend more money on her medical bills and drugs instead of buying necessary things for the family such as food, clothes and paying rent. Overall i think drugs are bad but if people want to do them then they can in their spare time but drugs shouldn't be llegaized because there are other people that will be greatly affected by them.
