Persepolis
Recently I read pages 1 - 30 in Persepolis, by Marjane Satrapi, and I found it interesting because it was based on a true story. It was also relate able and very understandable
One line from this part of the book that stands out for me is "2500 years of Tyranny and Submission" I think this is interesting because it crazy how the past submerges into the future. It will be smart to learn from the past to prevent future problems, but the issue got worst.
This section of Persepolois reminds me of something that happened to me. One time I had to write about why we study global history. I basically wrote that we study global history so we don't repeat the same events.
What's probably going to happen next is the little girl's family might send her to another country for her safety. And one of her family members might get killed in the revolution
I am looking forward to reading the rest of this book because the book is interesting and very funny. I like that the it has pictures.
