Photo Essay - "What I Learned"
I learned the main idea of a photo essay. A photo essay is a series of pictures in chronological order that tell a story. These pictures will sometimes have captions to explain them, but will all revolve around the same topic. The post that helped me understand this idea the most was the post about the Deadly Attack on Sri Lankan Cricketers. I also learned that photo essays will be over a longer period of time, as shown in the Attack photo essay. When I first read about photo essays I thought the pictures would take over a period of 5 minutes, but as shown in the Attack photo essay, the majority of the pictures was after the attack and the effects on the people.

I agree that they have to be
I agree that they have to be in some order, but they can be an order that tells your story best. Chronologically ( speaking of time when the photo was taken) might not always be the best to tell your story. A photo taken a day after your idea comes up for your photo essay might fit best at the end of your story, where another photo taken later on might best fit to start your story.
