Photo of the Week #6: Reflections
What I like the most about this picture is the contrast between the smooth water and the rough ground. I also think the focus makes the picture unique. I like how even though the subject of the picture is the puddle and the trees reflected within it, it is not the object in focus. I used a shallow depth of feild to have the reflection be slightly out of focus. I also like how the only color in the picture is the peice of blue in the sky. I think that this small peice of blue keeps the picture from getting boring.

At first when I quickly glanced at this picture I just saw the tree branches but then when I took a second look I noticed it was just a reflection. Great way to use the puddle and get a good angle in order to get the reflection just right.

I like how the picture is abstract, I had to really study it to realize it was a puddle and reflection. Though it is a bulls-eye, it is interesting enough to be centered.
