Poetry Fresh From the Garden
I'm walking through a land of green, brown, white and blue.
All I can see of is the beautiful scenery surrounding me.
All I can smell is the scent of green life.
It seems like yesterday was winter,
But now it's the season that revives life,
And rejuvinates the beauty of Mother Nature.
To me, she never stops being so amazing,
But what really catches my eyes is this exquisite flower.
Purple, white and yellow petals,
All swaying as the wind blows ever so softly.
My concentration is deeper than any other thought in the back of my head,
It is focused on this gift from our Earth.
Each flower is surrounded by green leaves,
That tail off to the roots that provide a soul.
I can't believe my eyes,
But soon I have to leave.
So I wave good-bye.
