Police have too much power.
I read “Why is the N.Y.P.D After Me?” and it makes me feel like the police are just looking for someone that is a different race. It makes me feel that the police are having too much fun abusing there power. Honestly, I don’t think police have changed much since the racial wars. In half the stops police cite the vague “furtive movements” as the reason for the stop.

Come to know it, the cops are the biggest gangs. They have engine work done on their vehicles that is illegal to us but legal for them. Same as governments affairs also. People are blinded by the shinny star to miss that information on the amendments are streaming the in books and via the world wide web. But the laws change as so do the people. If we want a change in our system, we need to change ourselves.

I agree with Josel cops are the biggest gang in New York they can do almost anything and get away with it. I came to realize that any time i am stop by police or search its usually a white cop. I feel that they send white cops to black neighborhoods on purpose just so they can bother us the few times a black cop is around every one cooperates and there is less problem. On the other hand white cops come with there attitude and talk to u any kind of way as if there your parents which isn't right. Not to say that there isn't good cops out there but the majority of them just over use there power and it needs to stop.

I enjoyed your post about "police have too much power".They also do abuse at a point but then again we got to think look how we behave with ourselves and each other.I mean the Bronx itself is a crazy town.We always fight with each other and jump each other and kill each other rob each other.Were a community where suppose to stand together,The better we stick the more people in rich areas would have less things to say of how ghetto we are and savages.
police abuse their power because of the fact that they have too,For example I remember be waiting for sneakers at foot locker.When the store open all the people try to cut in front of me and I was like what the heck but the cops broke it up , and they kind of help me and another thing is when people get jump or killed and want to find the person who they go to?To the police right.Point proven.

I enjoyed reading your post , "Police have too much power" because it is something that I can agree with. After watching several videos about stop and frisk, I been a bit disgusted on how the NYPD runs their job. One sentence you wrote that stands out for me is: "it makes me feel like the police are just looking for someone that is a different race." I think this is subjective because even though a few police may be striving for this, it is incorrect to refer to a large group of people.Thanks for your writing. I look forward to seeing what you write next, because I been interested on how NYPD are, and the type of work they are actually striving to do.
