The Power of Music
Music can be a very influential thing. It has the ability to push its effect onto the human mind and even change how we as humans think or feel. It has been known to be highly popular in the therapy industry and can have a dramatic effect on our health, passion, and motivation to do things.
Many studies have shown that listening to certain music can relieve stress to the point where we sleep better at night if we have listened to music throughout or at the end of the day. Tests have also shown that music used in psychiatric medicine helps the patients be better off after feeling relaxed by the soothing melodies. In a news article about how music effects young children in school, It said that music is proven to help kinds with their activities including educational, physical, and regular tasks of their day. This is an example of how strong the effect of just listening to it can be.
Music is also most powerful in its live form in my opinion because the musician has the ability to connect with the audience. In a article interviewing B.B. King he stated that when he plays he likes to “talk” to the audience, allowing a connection for him to feel while he plays for them.

B.B. King tours the UK in June with special guest John Mayall. Dates include Manchester MEN Arena (June 24), Birmingham NEC Arena(June 25), Cardiff CIA (June 27), London Wembley Arena (June 28). Dear Alex, I liked your post
Dear Alex,
I liked your post “The Power Of Music” because I can relate to it, Music helps people concentrate, stay active, and let out emotions.I sometimes feel that Music helps me understand what’s going on in the world. Music helps me from a negative emotion to a positive emotion.
One sentence you wrote that stands out for me is” Music can be a very influential thing” I think this is true because, Music helps me motivate myself when I’m doing exercise. I’m a soccer player and one of the most important thing’s to me is to be fit. And listening to music helps me concentrate on my goal.
Another sentence that I enjoyed was”It has the ability to push its affect onto the human mind and even change how we as humans think or feel” this stood out for me because it has happened to me several of times. Music changes my emotions, it also depends on the Genre your listening to. Music helps me clear my thoughts, and keep the negatives thoughts out.
Your post reminds me of something that happened me. One time I had this big soccer game championship, and practice was in the morning. My coach and teammates know that I could only concentrate when i listen to music. I played my favorite theme song, and got to practice. I woke up the next morning and had a big grin on my face because right in front of me was the champions cup.
Thanks for your writing. I look forward to seeing what you write next, because I enjoy your thinking and your creativity when it comes to explaining your topic in detail. I like your post a lot it helps me understand what i should do better as a writer.

Dear AmoraWHS12
I really enjoyed reading your post. Your post,”The Power of Music,” took a deeper look at what music truly means, and all the different ways it proved useful for people. This post was also very informative about how exactly music helps people, whether it be educationally, or health-wise, as you stated in your post. One sentence that you wrote that stood out for me was,” It has the ability to push its effect onto the human mind and even change how we as humans think or feel.” This stood out for me, because I feel that this could not be more true. A person could be happy one moment, and be completely upset, because of a song they heard the next. I feel that people at times, underestimate how powerful music actually is.
Another sentence that I found interesting was,” Music is also most powerful in its live form in my opinion because the musician has the ability to connect with the audience.” This sentence in particular stood out for me, because I agree that the artist does have the power to connect with his or her audience. The artist has the ability to capture the very souls of the audience, and completely bring them to tears, or it could be the complete opposite. This all depends on the song, the mood, and most importantly, the lyrics. The mood of an entire arena of thousands of people could be changed almost instantly because of the artist.
Your most reminds me of something that happened to me recently. I was literally in a state of depression about a month ago, and figured that nothing could bring me out of it. I didn’t speak with anyone about my situation, because I felt they wouldn’t entirely understand. The only thing that I could turn to was music. I would listen to certain songs that I could relate to, and I began to feel better. Even now, I still thank music for helping me to move on from that situation.
Thank you for your writing. I look forward to seeing what you may write next. I really enjoyed your post because music is something that most people can relate to, like myself. What would bring me back is the way you wrote about the topic of music; it was thorough and very informative. What would also bring me back are your topic choices. For example, who can’t relate to the topic of music? It’s for everybody, whether you’re young or old.

Dear AmoraWHS12:
I enjoyed reading your post, "The Power of Music" because I’m a person where music revolves around my life; I listen to music 24/7 is just a cool way to relieve stress.
One sentence you wrote that stands out for me is: "Tests have also shown that music used in psychiatric medicine helps the patients be better off after feeling relaxed by the soothing melodies”. I never knew that music is used in psychiatric centers to help the patients; I find that really fascinating
Another sentence that stood for me was “ Music is so powerful”. I totally agree with that I can spend a whole day just listening to music if I was able to.
Thanks for your writing. I look forward to seeing what you write next, because you state some pretty good points on the topics you write about.
The music is the power of the life
Dear Alex:
I am happy with your post, “The Power of Music’’ because like what you say that the music can change your feelings and your personality in one second. The music gives us something that we don’t know how to explain it is give us happy life, and I don’t know what will happen if the music doesn’t exist.
One sentence you wrote stands out for me is. “Many studies have shown that listening to certain music can relieve stress to the point where we sleep better at night if we have listened to music throughout or at the end of the day.’’ I agree because the music relaxes you, and even when you don’t like that type of music. When you keep listening to that song you start thinking about the message of the song.
Another sentence is, “Music is also most powerful in its live form in my opinion because
the musician has the ability to connect with the audience.’’ Yes it is, and how would the world be if music doesn’t exist. I think the world will be boring and all the people will find something to do in their house not been in the street hanging out, and some kids will not be involving in drugs. All the bad things that the kids learn comes from the street.
Your topic reminds me when I was 13 years old , and me and my friends were in the middle school
talking about what would happen if music doesn’t exist; us as students have different opinions. The topic was interesting, and I like when people have different opinions that way we can see the logical thing of what the answer will be.
Thank for your writing. I look forward to seeing what you write next because you make an
interesting point in this post, and I like how you think about something that never maybe exist in the world. That way people know about what they didn’t know before. I love your post.

I liked your post “The Power Of Music” because your title grabbed my attention. Also that you have interesting details and facts in your post. One sentence you wrote that stands out for me is “ It has the ability to push its effect onto the human mins and even change how we as humans think or feel.” I think this is true because the lyrics that singers create, make people think about stuff more.
Another sentence that I liked was “ Music is also most powerful in its live form in my opinion because the musician has the ability to connect with the audience.” This stood out for me because some musicians are strong with their words and some people could connect to that.
Your post reminds me of something that happened to me. One time I remember every song that came out I could really realte to their lyrics. It is like they knew the right words for a certain situation. Also that some people listen to music to forget their stress or clear their head.
Thanks for your writing. I look forward to seeing what you write next, because you know how to keep a topic interesting. Also that your post seemed correct to me.
The power of music
I am thrilled with your article on the power of music. I think that music helps me get farther and feel better when i am down. In addition there are a lot of artist that connect with me and i feel like their giving me advise on a beat. Finally you know music is powerful if it survives threw time and people are still playing it.
One sentence that stood out to me in your post was " Many studies have shown that listening to certain music can relieve stress to the point where we sleep better at night". I agree with this because i listen to a lot of slow jams and it helps me fall to sleep. In addition i feel that it relaxes me because sometimes i have a very long day and a nice song is what i need. Finally i feel that its not on the music genre is just the vibe of the song that makes you feel better.
Another sentence that stood out to me is " It has been known to be highly popular in the therapy industry and can have a dramatic effect on our health, passion, and motivation to do things". The reason this stood out to me is because i feel that when i listen to rap i want to workout so i go to the gym because i get motivated. In addition the song that you listen to will change your mind frame at times. Finally
it can also have a bad effect on you as well as good.
In conclusion i agree with your post because i am one of those people with head phones on from day to night. I love to listen to music because it helps me get threw the day. Finally another reason why i agree with your post is because music has changed life.

Dear Amora,
I am inspired by your post, "The Power of Music." I was searching for new strategies to maintain the focus of my students during the weeks approaching summer. Your post about music's influence on people has lead me to several great ideas involving music. I will bring these ideas to my classroom.
One sentence that I was excited by was: "Tests have also shown that music used in psychiatric medicine helps the patients be better off after feeling relaxed by the soothing melodies." This reminded me that music can "sooth" my students and help them to keep focused and engaged during class.
Another sentence that I was happy to learn from was: "Music is also most powerful in its live form in my opinion because the musician has the ability to connect with the audience." This gave me ideas of how I can use powerful music to help students develop voice and remain focused while doing so!
Thank you for writing! I look forward to see what you write next!

i love music
Dear Alex,
I'm happy I came across your post about music.
To me this topic means the most, I love music. Music to me is something like therapy, when I'm sad, mad, happy, excited music can fit any mood I'm in. music gets me through the day I will go above and beyond just to keep a pair of headphones because I have to listen to music when I travel.
Different types of music are for different types of people. I'm into hip hop, pop, r&b not a really big fan of rock but if it's the right song with the right beat then that's my new favorite song ill be plain for the new couple of days.
The part that stood out to me the most was when you said "music can relieve stress and is even believed to help u sleep better if you listen to music while you sleep." I definitely agree being that I'm a person that sometimes fall asleep with my headphones in. I noticed that I sleep through the whole night when I listen to music other than me not.
I'm looking forward to hearing more from you on subject we can relate too.
I just finish reading your
I just finish reading your article "The Power of Music" and it related to me a lot because I feel the same way about music myself.
One sentence you said that "Music can be a very influential thing. It has the ability to push its effect onto the human mind and even change how we as humans think or feel." which i absolutely agree.
It brings me back to every time I feel emotional, moody, depressed or even nonchalant music gets me going. There are times where I can be out of one's mind and when I listen to music I can suddenly feel like myself again. There are more times I can be happy in a good mood and a certain song can make me feel low or at ease. This is why music is so influential and has an impact on us.
In all, I agree music can be influencing to a lot of people and can have a impact on them a great deed.
Music
Music is probablt the most powerful thing in this society. I listen to Rock music- and only rock music. I listen to Dead Boys, Lord oif the new Church, The Damed, L.A. Guns. Avenged Sevonfold, D.R.U.G.S., Hollywood undead, The Used, Guns N' Rodes, 30 Seconds To Mars, KISS, Motley Crue, Automatic Loveltter, From First To Last, Eyes Set To Kill, Confy, and pf couse The Misfits, and my all time favborite band, that saved me from commiotting suicide, BlackVeil Brides. All those bands have one thing in common-they write about rebellion.

I am interested by your post , "The Power of Music," because music means everything to me; I listen to music everyday. One sentence you wrote that stands out for me is "Tests have also shown that music used in psychiatric medicine helps the patients be better off after feeling relaxed by the soothing melodies. " I think this is very true for me personally because I believe that music has definitely changed the way I relax. Another sentence that I found interest in was: "Music can be a very influential thing." This stood out for me because I am very influenced by music. I do agree with you that music can change a person’s mood. One reason I say this is because I can relate. Another reason I agree with you is because music helped me move along way in life. Thanks for your writing. I look forward to seeing what you write next, because I find great interest in your post.
Music is Powerful
I agree with this post. I love music and feel that it is one of the most powerful things in the world. I feel that this connects everyone who is listening and allows everyone to enjoy something- even in hard times. No matter what is going on, music always helps someone to calm down or get pumped up for something.
I agree with the statement: "Music is also most powerful in its live form in my opinion because the musician has the ability to connect with the audience." When the performance is live, everyone connects, and there is a special connection between the performer and audience.
I feel that music is a universal language that everyone can speak and understand.
