Procrastinating with Holden in The Catcher in the Rye
Recently I read pages 60- 75 in The Catcher in the Rye, by J.D. Salinger, after Holden had arrived to the hotel, he checked in, the room he stayed in was terrible, but had a window which he had stared out for a while. And he had called a friend that work in the hotel and founded out she attend Princeton, and asked did she had any acquaintance with a guy named Eddy there, an she went yes.
After the chat he asked her out for cocktails that night but, she was unavailable, she said tomorrow, and Holden reply and said he was gonna be busy tomorrow, so she said sorry then, well nice meeting you, and enjoy staying in New York..One line from this part of the book that stands out for me is: "I really fouled that up." I think this is describing the way he had felt when he wanted something, he just couldn't get.
This section "It was still pretty early." Reminds me of myself now trying to finish this literature log on the last minute for tomorrow and stuff. Yea, procrastinations is not good. I have school tomorrow but, I am only getting like 3 hours of sleep. I know not good, really not good. What's probably going to happen next is he will meet a couple of girl and start another conversion while at a bar.I am looking forward to reading the rest of this book because it is most interesting to find that the main character is so confused and doing anything he find fit.

good job
I think this is a good story or what ever you say it is. but any ways you did a good job.
procrastination
I think you hit upon something very important about Holden Caulfield when you mentioned procrastination. One of the recurring themes throughout The Catcher in the Rye is that Holden is not a person who generally takes action, and tends to procrastinate. Good insight into his character.
