I don't really play games, but this week I have been playing this game called "Ayiti:The cost of Life" its the first game that i have played in a very long time i think that it interested me the most because it was related to the tragedy in Haiti, we had to help out a family survive the harsh weathers that went on through out 4 years. I won the game I didn't any one of the family die it was fun personally although many people take it as offensive that there is actually a game that has to do with the Haitians after what they went through. I think that its a great game and in no way is this game offending anybody.
The games that I sometimes play are very different I am used to playing games that are about violence for example "Mortal Combat" is my favorite game, I don't care what other have to say about it I personally love it. I think that both the game that I like to play and the game "Ayiti the cost of life" because they are two different concepts. On the other hand it does relate to it because you have to find strategies how to keep your person alive.
The Ayiti game is very entertaining there are 4 years with all different types of weather. I think that it has to be one of my favorite games now and not only mine teachers like it to. At time when I am playing the game it makes me think that its very hard to think that there are actually people out there that are in the same situation as the game, they have no money or not the right tools to have a very stable house in case a hurricane, and when Christmas come they have to choose whether to buy gifts and spend money or keep it simple without any presents and save up the money for other things that are needed.

I too have played Ayiti Cost OF Life. Hey were in the same class hahaha. Anywho, I love the game too, and I also use to play mortal combat back in the day with my brother and cousins. That game was so much fun, I even enjoyed watching the movies that came from it.
You were right when you said that in a sense those to games compare because you have to figure out a strategy as to how to keep eveyone alive. In Mortal Combat its how to keep your self alive when your trying to fight everyone off that wants to kill you.
One line that you said that actually stood out to me the most was " I think that its a great game and in no way is this game offending anybody" . I totally agree with you. Some people sometimes just go too far with ideas. Sometimes they go in to a situation with negitive vibes without even seeing that the game actually allows people to see how harsh the conditions are over there. Also that The families that are trying to survive realy go through most of the struggles that the game fmilies went through.
It teaches young kids that they can understand whats going on in the world around them without actually having to visit that said place.
