Race Among Others

My topic : Race
My topic is about different kinds of Race and how the people get affected by it towards their lives.One thing that got me interested in this topic is when I was watching the news and a news reporter talked about how Race is getting a bigger problem everyday. Students are also affected by this,and I believe they could make the right decision or not to be racial or make a racial comment. One question I hope to answer through my research is, Does race affect a person’s lifestyle if so then what can that person do to overcome that obstacle?. One thing I’m going to argue about in my research is that race can be a struggle and people’s lives are affected by it.

My research:
I have read this interesting article on New York Times and it states about race and how people seeit as their description and what they think its right or wrong. I agree with most of the people thathave spoken their reason. Discrimination is still around, but we the people need to understand thatit’s not needed in our community because it doesn’t make it a safe place for people, even studentsare involved in this situation.One thing that I have learned about my topic is the race should betaken serious because if you don’t then people could get hurt and that’s based on the decisionspeople make.One question that still is on my mind is how can race be stopped officially, whatsteps can people take for a better community.

Your Process:
My research was a struggle because it was hard to find all that specific information. My topic wasabout race, but it brought other ideas of different kinds of race and basically their meaning, andhaving nothing to do with my theme. One challenge I faced was finding the right information to put inmy paper because if I say something that racial to anyone, then that’s going to affect me and letothers know that I think its a joke. One success I have faced towards putting my paper together ishow I used the information to get a better understanding of race and what kind of affects it has onpeople. One thing I hope to achieve when my paper is complete is finding out what race does topeople what I mean is that is race a bigger problem than we think? but is race also determined bywhat color of skin a person is.
