Racism

In Ramona there are so many people that are racist it’s been going on for a while but it has been getting better. It always leads up too a fight and that’s when people start pointing fingers at the Mexicans, blacks, chines ect. And they never care what they have to say. People say that it was way worse back in the day but now it’s getting better. I really don’t think it’s far that people always have to deny use because of our race I mean why do people have to judge before they get to know and this is why everyday people have to have problems it doesn’t matter where you go its going to happen.

             Racism in the United States has been a major issue since the colonial era. Historically, the country has been dominated by Whites. The heaviest burdens of racism in the country have fallen upon Native American, African American, Asian Americans, Mexican American, American Jews, Irish Americans, Muslim and Arab Americans, and some other immigrant groups and their descendants. Major racially structured institutions include slavery, Native American reservations, segregation, residential schools (for Native Americans), internment camps, and affirmative action. Racial statistician has occurred in employment, housing, education and government. Formal racial discrimination was largely banned in the mid-20th century, and it came to be perceived as socially unacceptable and/or morally repugnant as well, yet racial politics remain a major phenomenon. Racist attitudes, or prejudiced, are held by a substantial portion of the U.S. population. Discrimination against African Americans, Latin Americans, and Muslims is widely acknowledged. Members of every American ethnic group have perceived racism in their dealings with other groups.

      I kind of agree with the article because it dose have a good point and its kind of what I was talking about in the beginning. Racism usually dose happen with all the people that they where referring in the article so I defiantly do agree on that. Yea I think that we should all just treat each other the same with no fighting and no racism just so there would not be anymore problems. I actually like this topic and I would love to learn more about just so there would be world peace in the United States.
