Random Family

The book we're reading in class is Called Random Family. It was written by Adrain Nicole LeBlanc, its about a family in the bronx around the 80s. It is non - fiction, based on the real lives of these people. The main character is a Girl names Jessica, when the book begins she is just a mere 14 years old. As the story progresses, Jessica meets new people in her search for love & affection. Its all she wants, a fairytale lifestyle with her prince charming. Jessica's mom, Lourdes, doesnt set a very good example. The men in her lide were abusive and she battled drug use. As Jessica grow older, she meets a guy she thinks is going to be her husband. he was a big drug dealer
