I think what Tea Cake did to Janie was messed up because it is their first night together. I wonder where Tea Cake have went off to because he didn’t come back. Janie is wondering where Tea Cake has been because her $200 dollars went missing as well. Why would Tea Cake take Janie’s money. Was he going to do something else with the money? At least he could have told Janie that he was taking her money. Janie is worried about Tea Cake because she doesn’t really know what is going on.

I think that Tea Cake is playing Janie and not even telling her or maybe he needs the money for an emergency. Janie thinks that Tea Cake is is going out to grab some fish for breakfast to fry, but it was getting late when he didn’t return back home. She was worried that Tea Cake was shot dead or something. She didn’t have enough money in her pocket, but in her bank account she had enough to return to Eatonville. If she went back she would be laughed at. She needed something to do, but the only thing she can hope for was for Tea Cake to be safe. I think that Janie is a good women and that Janie wants to find her love life and make it right.

I think that Tea Cake is her last resort and the last guy that she is going to make it worth out with. Things are not getting worse, but it is not getting any better as well. She is making the best of her choices because Janie didn’t have much decisions at this time. Maybe Janie is thinking that Tea Cake is going to love some other women, and that she has been waiting a long time for love.

I am liking tis book because it is such a dramastic change between Tea Cake and Janie. Everything just happned out of no where and now Tea Cake keeps on leaving Janie at home and she didn't even know. An example of what I mean is on page 138. "They had to give it to her, she sho looked good, but she had no business to do it. It was hard to love a woman that always made you feel so wishful." This is making me think that Tea Cake is not going to treat her right or anything. Women are seen as inferior and no one actually cared, but she proved to everyone in town that is wrong and that she can look pretty to show off her courage. This was a hard task for her, but she accomplished it.

The themes in this book really caught my attention and it reminds me of something that happened to me in my life. It is a crucial point in the book right now, but we live in different times as the people in this book. We grew up in this world with technology and where people fight for leadership and justice. I believe that people should have more respect for each other and look upon the world to see what it really is.

I am looking forward to reading the rest of this book because this book pinpoints a lot of mysteries and sometimes it makes us wondering what is really going on. This book conveys a lot of messages that makes me really like this book. What is probably going to happen next is that something horrible is going to occur with TeaCake and Janie.
