What I noticed most about "Religion and Family" by Heather Oplinger (I have no idea where this podcast came from) is that there is a problem between family and religion which each one can affect people in a different way. In one case, a mother cared about more of her religion than her own family which to me seemed sad because why would care more about a belief than their own flesh and blood? I guess religion can sometimes even blind someone because it has too much of an impact on them.

I did not catch a single quote from the podcaster, but by the way she explained the whole situation it seemed as though there was soooo much going on in her life and that her own mother wouldn't even be her friend to be there for her. I think that it's very weird for someone just to care more about religion than the life they live in reality and the people surrounding them daily (their family.)

I want to thank Heather Oplinger for creating this podcast because it shows that there are people out there, who take religion to the extremes which also means caring about beliefs than even their own family. Hopefully one day, these people's eyes will open to reality and they will learn that life is not all about just one thing and that is religion, family is way more important because next to religion they are priceless.
