Religon Wars- Round 3. Judaism

Well, now its time for the religion of the Jewish people. Judaism. I don't know how well I will do on this one, with articles and what not. But what I will most likely do is just get one of my Jewish friends to help me out with this one. No shame in needing help. Ill try to add something about the Holocaust and maybe the other massacres the Jews have gone through.

"As observant Jews prepare for the beginning of the eight-day Passover celebration tonight, some will pause this morning to recite the least frequently spoken prayer in Judaism." Jewish people are very cultured and have may different. The most recent was Passover. It was an 8 day holiday to celebrate a past story about a angle of death going over Jewish people homes. It was a very in depth holiday with many different practices. Because I am not Jewish, I don't know any of them, sorry.

The Jewish country of Israel is fighting over a patch of land. They believe that the land is holy. But because the Jews have been hurt so much, they have this instinct of flight or flight.

"By VOA News Activities in Israel came to a halt Tuesday as the wail of sirens pierced the air in remembrance of the six million Jews who perished in the Nazi Holocaust." This is what I was talking about in the previous paragraph. Jews have had a lot of issues with people. I am sorry to say they seem to have a big target on their back. If the Jews have not been destroyed yet, I don't think they are going anywhere...

"I wonder whether Jews in South Africa would dare protest Ahmadinejad at Durban the way French Jews did at Geneva. Hope they could without fear."

 

Now for a synopsis.

The Jewish people have many different traditions that they follow.

An upside to Judaism is that the Jews emphasize on having sex on Friday nights and on holidays.  Also, their holidays are long and you get a lot of presents. Also, there is not hell, so when you die, your good.

Now the downsides. Jews have had many problems and many enemies so there would be oppression problems.

Choose your religon, but dont blame me.
