Responce to Teen Angst? by Ned Vizzini

I have recently picked up the book Teen Angst? by Ned Vizzini. This book is about a teenagers junior high and high school stories. In the first thirty pages that I read it talks about how Ned got his very first nintendo. It was one of the first nintendos that ever came out. Him and his brothers became addicted to the nintendo especially Ned. Everytime he would come home from school would play video games. He revolved his schedule and his life around video games in his younger years. Then as he got older school became more important to him especially in the 7th and 8th grade. The teachers began to talk to him about picking a high school to go to and the shsat. He began to believe that he would do good on it like any other state wide test but he got a practice book anyway. After trying a problem he completely freaked out. He was unable to solve the problem and ran to his mother. From that point forward until the shsat he was obsessed with study. Studying every hour he had a chance to. Eventually when it came to taking the shsat he easily got in to Stuyvesant. Even after that moment he was still consistently studying. That is basically where Im up to in the book at this very moment
