Review of Chapters 13, 14 and 15
I just finished 13, 14, and 15 of Their Eyes Were Watching God. In Chapter 13 Tea Cake steals Janie’s money and goes out on the town, the he comes back with a story about where he was.
Janie is blind and in child love with him. Even thought I think she knows in her heart that he’s lying, he doesn't care and tries to see the bright side of the situation.
I also think Tea Cake knows how Janie feels about him and he takes advantage and does what he pleases and get away with it. Tea cakes is going to play her as long as she allows him.
In chapter 15 im learning that Jaine is finally standing up for her self and starting to take a important role in her relationship with teacake.
She started to let her voice be heard and telling tea cake what she really feels and taking more of the pants in the relationship.
