This song is pretty good. I like how he put what really happened to the boy Trayvon Martin. I guess the hook is basically an out line about him.I Also like the beat im not going to lie that really the only reason I let the song play out.But It was pretty good

Actually what happened

Dear Aaron:

I really like your post about the death of Trayvon Martin and the music video. I also think that the cop who shot him should be brought to justice because I think is not right or fair to the family and friends of Trayvon Martin. The cop who shot him should also have some kind of guilt for killing a young boy who had no weapon on him and just had a bag of skittles. One sentence I agree with is,"This song is pretty good." I agree with this sentence because I also believe the song was great and talked about what the people wanted for Trayvon, which is "justice."

Another sentence I agree with is,"I like how he put what really happened to the boy Trayvon Martin." I agree with this because in the video they tell what actually happened during the incident of Trayvon's death, while some other music videos talk about things that really didn't happen.

This reminds me of the time when this teenager in the Bronx got shot because cops thought he had a weapon on him and shot him in his own home.

Thanks for writing. I really enjoyed watching the video and reading your statements on what you thought about the video.

ACTUALLY Actually what happened...

The guy who shot trayvon is george zimmerman.  he is NOT a cop. he applied and TRIED to be a cop but couldnt make the cut and was not accepted.  he then appointed himself to be neighbourhood watch.

zimmerman called 911 to report a suspicious black male was walking about looking wacked out on drugs.  911 said thanks were on it, basically, and then they could hear george running.  911 asked zimmerman if he was chasing trayvon and he said yes.  911 told him to stop, to not do that and the police would handle it.  Zimmerman continued to chase Trayvon and ultimately shot Trayvon.

Zimmerman claims this is self defense because Trayvon some how snuck up on Zimmerman and attacked him.  Zimmerman claims trayvon was beating him to death so he shot trayvon.  Trayvon has no wounds, cuts or bruises on his hands or anywhwere else on his body, anything evident of a fight.  George Zimmermans EMS report said he did not have any wounds that required treatment.

The police chief's in charge of this case, in 2010, had a friend who's SON murdered a homeless man.  He let his friends son go and did not arrest the son.   It is believed the same thing has happened again since George Zimmermans Father was a judge who is now retired.  Hence George Zimmerman was not arrested just like he did for his friend's son in 2010.  Basically the police chief is crooked.

You sound kinda young so I thought I'd explain to you what is really going on.

What a Great song!

I must admit the beat is good. I also like your honesty about only letting the song play out because of the beat. I just really glad that Trayvon case is getting publicity. This song is great too. They should put this song on the radio. My favorite quote is “ Man is tell me what this world is coming too.” I like this quote because everyone is wondering the same thing.

Another quote I like was “I am Trayvon Martin.” I have to say this song tells a great story that I hope would end in justice made. Even if Trayvon was attacking him you don’t kill someone in self defense. You may punch them or something to give you time to run. But not take out a gun shoot the person.

I glad you put this post up. I may not had ever found this quote without your help. I guess everyone want justice for Trayvon Martin.
