When Rosa Strygler came to East West School of International Studies she was able to tell us her life changing story. The people that took place in the event where the Seniors from East West School of International Studies, we came cause we were able to take the time to read her book. During her visit to our school their were certain speakers in 12th grade class that were able to ask her questions. One of the speaker was 12th grader Max.

Hes quote was the following question, “How was a person like you able to overcome all these problems, when a average person can lose there minds?”    Hearing this question just made me realize that no matter what the problem is people shouldn’t lose themselves, but instead move forward in life.

Another quote that stuck out to me from Rosa’s visit was when Rosa herself talked about world peace, “that it would have made a big difference if the United States came to help during the Holocaust”

Seeing this quote again, I see how one person can make a difference in world peace. It opens my eyes because this quote is saying that anyone can make a difference when it comes to world change.
