Same Sex Marriage
Even as the governing body of the United States of America, the powerful men and women of this country cannot legally ban same-sex couples from getting married. Marriage, regardless of sexual orientation or the parties involved is a violation of basic civil and religious freedoms. Homosexuality is widely accepted in this country as well and it is time that the conservative men and women up on capitol hill “get with” the modern times and grant these American people a basic right to marry the person they love. Allowing them to marry is not going to hurt society or anyone in particular either. It is time that all people, even those who oppose it, accept it as an inevitability that will eventually happen one way or another.
