Saturday Night Live
"The Best of Will Ferrell: Saturday Night Live" was playing non stop at my house from sixth grade until freshman year. I probably had the entire dvd memorized. I moved on to The Best of Chris Farley and Dana Carvey. When those got old I decided to give the live show a try. I hated it. I thought that there would be about one funny skit for the entire show and that was it. A few weeks ago I decided to start watching it again, and I have loved it. My favorite skit of the year is probably where the spoof the sports shows about Linsanity. I also love when the actors break character. Jimmy Fallon was the king of this. This last week a skit aired that was complete madness. All the actors burst into laughter during the skit at least once. I think that is when you know you have a great skit, when even the best comedic actors can't stay in character.
