Dear Enmanuel,
I been trying to save money also. I want to save money for college though. I think its cute how you want to save up help your mom out. aww :). Its been kind of hard for me to save since I started working.

I do have money saved up, but compared to much I would've had its nothing. Every pay day I buy something. And that's why I opened up a bank account but that's not helping either lol :(. So what I'm doing now is depositing my check into my savings account so that way I can save up.

You save because you want to save.It's the best to care for others like your mother but i believe that your mother wont mind if you spend your money. I say that because she raised you to know the value of money and how to spend. What you do is your choice. Saving money can help in the long run but what is the sense of working if you cant enjoy. So just ration your money and enjoy every moment of it.
