College is a place where you get an opportunity to show who you really are. Getting to show off what you got for the world. The talent, intelligent, and attitude you have. It's a way of learning more things that you haven't learned yet and things that you need to learn for the future to become someone professional in life.
The importance of a college education is also accentuated because of the opportunity to gain valuable resources during your tenure. The more connections which are collected during your college career, the more options you will have when you begin your job search. Once you have ended your job search and have started your career, however, the importance of a college education has not been exhausted. Having a college degree often provides for greater promotion opportunity.
College today means much more than just pursuing a four- year degree at a university. Being ready for college means being prepared for any post secondary education or training experience, including study at two- and four-year institutions leading to a post secondary credential (i.e. a certificate, Associates or Bachelor’s degree). Being ready for college means that a high school graduate has the English and mathematics knowledge and skills necessary to qualify for and succeed in entry-level. As for me, wanting to go to college is a way of succeeding in life. Many students out there forget the importance of going to college. Not knowing that college it's a way of finding their career dream. College can help in so may ways. If you give all your effort and dedication to your work in college everything will turn out great. Nursing is a career that's been in my mind for a long while now. I'm planning to have Nursing as my career life. I want to have my Bachelor's Degree on Nursing. It's something I would like to do in my life. Helping others that are in pain. And if I want to become a Nurse then College is a great place for me to get start it. College will make me a better and professional person. I strongly believe that education is very important in every single place in the world. I believe that having a good education makes you a better citizen.
People with an education can make a difference in the world. When a person gets an education, you aren't just learning a set of facts. You are also learning how to be resourceful, creative, and a problem solver. College refers also to more opportunities (heightened awareness of possibilities through exploring different fields), chance to learn how to think critically, expand knowledge (expand opportunities), better jobs, more competitive with enhanced and increased knowledge. Going to college means a lot for me, but also another reason why I would want to go to college is because of my brother. I"ll be the first one in my family to graduate and it's very emotional for me. Everyone looks up to you, and the person that looks up to me the most is my eleven year old brother. Knowing that he is proud of me makes me not give up my dream of going to college and becoming a Nurse. It's an amazing feeling, making someone very small look up to you as a role model. Every student in High School wants to make their parents, siblings, uncles, aunts and etc proud of them going into college knowing that is a big step in their life.As I know this is one of my other reasons why I want to go to college.
As we all know the key to success is education. Most time we struggle to read and meet lectures in school and yet ones still feels educational qualifications has to be met. One other thing is that in our society nowadays people are not fully recognized without education and attending college, we all know is like a stepping stone to becoming a graduate with professional courses. My weakness in High School are mainly Mathematics and Social Studies. Even though this two subjects are the ones that are painful to me, I"ll improve them by receiving tutoring. Most students have weakness and I'm one of those students who struggle with subjects in class. Sometimes it's better to realize what your weakness are, because if you want to improve your life the you"ll have to start by improve your weaknesses. Math for me can be a struggle where I try and try but sometimes it fails. Giving an effort is what I do. Same for Social Studies, S.S is not my strongest subject, is where I also give my effort and I succeed but sometimes it fails.But I never surrender. But receiving tutoring will end up working for me also.
Students also have many powerful skills on certain subjects. Speaking for myself, I enjoy and consider myself good at is at English and Chinese. Those two subjects can be my two powerful subjects for me. English is a subject where I can put all of my thoughts and write them down. Learn many vocabulary words, identify themes, read interesting books, summarizing the plot and also writing essays. Writing an essay is a part where there is no right or wrong answer. Is what I like most. When I write I don't have to be aware of a right or wrong answer is basically where I write all my thoughts and ideas. Chinese can also be sometimes a challenging but I mostly consider it as a writing class.It's hard considering that Chinese is the most hardest language to learn due to the fact that there are millions and millions of characters that you have to memorize.Even though it's a hard language I strongly feel that with my Spanish language and English language it helps me develop a strong senses of Chinese. When I try to translate Chinese into English I first translate it to Spanish and then to English. It's a different way of how I use my mind. It's a easier way and faster way for me. If everything goes well on my Chinese language I"ll be looking forward on learning a fourth language.
In Conclusion, College is not a place that it's given to you but it's a place where you earn it. Going into college will help you become a better someone in life. It would be nice to know that your parents went to college also. Making you feel better about yourself and your family. It's an opportunity that is given to you and you have to make the best of it. It's just like you wanting something with all your heart and you work for it so hard, and suddenly you end up having it. You Earn it! That how it feels, myself wanting to go to college even though I have my weakness subjects and strongest subjects it's doesn't stop me for reaching my dream. Even though I have a weakness I know that college is there for me, that's why everyone goes there to become superior and to learn.College is where you can make a difference to yourself.
