Scorpions, An awesome book by Walter Dean Myers

I have read the book Scorpion and I have to say this is a great piece of writing by Walter Dean Myers!

This book is basically about how this kid Jamal seems to be blamed/bothered for nearly everything. His brother gets arrested and his mother becomes much more annoying because of the fact that his brother is in jail. He has a best friend named Tito who has always been by his side.

Jamal becomes forced to take over a gang member of the Scorpions and deal crack. He doesn't want to do it because of a couple of reasons.

One reason is that he saw what happen to his brother and he doesn't want to do it to his mother.

Another reason is that he really badly needs money for Randy's appeal so he's kind of stuck in the middle and doesn't really know which way to take.

I would recommend this book to an boy teenager because I don't really feel as if girls would be interested in this type of gang and drug dealing book although I really liked this book. If anyone is looking for a awesome book to read this has to be their first choice.
