Shooting on the Edge
In my photography, I really enjoy taking pictures of flowers that consist of bright colors and interesting petals. I try to get as close to the flower as possible, leading to a blurry background. I believe that this leads to a really interesting photo with your eyes mainly focused on the flower but you notice the leaves or grasses in the background. I try to take pictures in different lighting, preferably natural lighting, because it brings a different dynamic to the photo rather than indoor or the same lighting for every picture. When it comes to taking photos of people or friends, I try to catch them in the moment, because those photos seem to be better than the actual saying cheese photos. I also like to get their faces rather than their body and faces. Faces just have certain emotions that are really fun to capture, plus you see certain details up closer rather than getting their whole body. I hope to improve my photography skills my taking more shots in movement and trying different cameras to get a feel for how they shoot.
