Small Business Saturday
After the crowds have died down and shoppers have had their fill of Black Friday deals, they awake the next morning to open their checkbooks for Small Business Saturday. This gives smaller retail stores a chance to offer sale prices on their items. This way, they can be separated from the larger chain businesses that can afford to sell their items for much lower prices. This year American Expressed sponsored the second annual Small Business Saturday. Owners of small businesses claim their stores are better because they really get to know their customers and truly care about them. Shoppers receive a more personalized experience, while saving money and supporting local businesses during the busy holiday season.
