Speak

    In school i'm currently reading a book called Speak. Then book is about a young girl who goes through a lot in school. The story talk about the things the girl had to go through after the night she was raped at a party and called the cops to end it. Everyone in her school didn’t talk to her because they didn’t know the real reason she called the cops. She was too scared to see how they would react. The girl and the boy still went to the same school and the boy was really popular mainly all the girls anted to be with him. At some point in the story one of the girls in her school start talking to the boy and she finally decide to try and tell everyone what’s going on. The girl believes she’s jealous that she has the boy every one want. In end everyone finds out what happened and they all try to support the girl who got raped.
    In English class were reading a book about a man who grew up being slow. He decided to get a surgery that would help him get smart. This story is similar to Speak in a way because both of the main characters are being teased wherever they go. The young girl in speak was being teased because she ruined the party the boy Charlie is being teased because he is slow.
