Speechless

I recently read an article about Josh Powell and reflected on what had happened with him. The article itself didn’t bother me, but the fact of thinking about the horrible events that Powell triggered made me upset. I was disgusted when I initially heard about how he had killed his two sons. Then when details about the incident started coming out, I just tried to distance myself from the whole situation. I just couldn’t stand to look at anymore information about this awful person. I can’t imagine how anyone involved feels, but looking in from the outside it is terrible. I ponder why someone would ever do such a ridiculous thing, especially to his own children. Words don’t describe the feeling that I am left with when I hear things like this.
