The most interesting sport in the Winter Olympics has to be curling. Now I realize that curling is not the port of choice to the rest of the world, but the amount of strategy and precision involved makes this sport extremely interesting.

Two teams, each of four players, take turns sliding heavy, polished blue hone granite stones across the ice curling sheet towards the house, a circular target marked on the ice. Each team has eight stones. The purpose is to accumulate the highest score for a game, points being scored for the stones resting closest to the center of the house at the conclusion of each end.

This is the basic definition of curling, but to truly understand the skill required one has to watch a match. I don't believe many people got a chance to see the Olympic matches because they were on during the day, but the lucky few who did surely appreciated the true art that is the sport of curling.
