A story that teaches
I just read a short story called "An Incident," by Lu Hsun. I liked the story when he was talking about the women and how the rickshaw man helped the women. And also the last sentence that "teaching me shame, urging me to reform and giving me fresh courage to hope." I thought that is great. An incident that helped him, also makes me interested in this because I thought it also may help me to learn and urging me reform.
Another line that "even now, this remains fresh in my memory." This stood out for me because any incident happen to me, that it a great experience that help me to learn. And I keep thinking back to keep fresh in my memory.
Also I liked, "Still holding her arm, he helped her slowly forward." I was surprised. This reminds me of something that happened to me. One time that had happened few days ago. When I was going to Main Street, and I saw an old man push a wheal car with books on the top that was going to sell his books on the street. When he crossed the street and there was an uphill and he cannot go forward. He didn't ask for help, but a man went up to him and helped him pushed it up. I was surprised and asked myself, if that was me, I hope I would do the same thing.
I would like to read more stories by Lu Hsun because from this story I thought it was great. Remind me a lot of things, I thought anything happen to me is an incident. But what helps me to be success is a main purpose. This story teaches me and any other stories by Lu Hsun would teach me more.
