Tax the wealthy

The issue of American debt and the lack of safety nets, is of major importance to the country right now. the biggest solution is taxes yet many Americans don’t want an increase in taxes although in the long run it will benefit them, but I digress. However it is important to note that many have tried to push for an increase in taxes against the wealthy. Conservatives state this isn’t an option because when given tax breaks the wealthy are more likely to invest. Yet Warren Buffet, one of the wealthiest Americans, and a group of other wealthy men have come out stating that they themselves, should be taxed and that tax break wouldn’t effect their decision and interest in investing or not. Does the other top 1% of Americans agree with him?
