Teen abuse

Teenage dating is an interesting subject because all teens have different relationship problems. Some of teenage relationship problems are very serious like abuse and some are just regular problems like understanding the other person. Many teenagers are having a lot of problem with violence in relationship and sexual abuse. Sexual abuse is a huge problem and we don't know everything about this yet. Teens and others are still learning about sexual abuse.

In an article on teenage relationship it says "If a man forces a woman or girl to have sexual intercourse against her will, this is rape. It is still rape even if the man is her boyfriend or husband." I don't think a lot of people would know that because a husband or boyfriend get to do whatever they want with their wife or girlfriend.

Another quote that stood out to me was "The information wasn't given to me, that I was actually being abused," said Allen, backed by poster boards displaying statistics on the growing problem. "I wish I knew (what) I know now about teen dating violence."
This stood out to me because I think its crazy that a girl didn't know about this. Teen abuse is a serious issue and every school should talk to their students about this problem. All students must be informed and be aware of teen abuse. Also before going into a relation teens should get to know that other person better.

In another article it says "teen boys responding to the survey (all in grade ten, mostly 16 years old) said the prime motivator for starting a relationship was because they liked the person. Of course sexual attraction was a factor; it tied with wanting to get to know someone better as reason #2 for starting a relationship." This is something new. Most girls think that all guys think about is sex. I guess that is somewhat true. Also a lot of girls go into a relationship because of sex and that's is all they think about. But this article was interesting because of this quote.

I think media can play a huge role in getting the massage about teen abuse out to the world. Different show can give a lot of information on this topic and make the world a better place. Televisions radios and celebrities can help teens hear the dangers of teen abuse and get people to listen to them and try stop this madness.
