This is basically the question that I have been asking since I first started thinking about studying nature and nurture. Are we shaped by genetics or are we shaped by the environment? This is a really great question that I am sure is being asked all over the world.

The scientists sought to figure it out by associating it with women and smoking during pregnancy. They believe that this study will prove that whether the cigarette shapes the baby genetically or if the environment shapes the baby after the new baby is born.

It's perhaps the most controversial question in biology: Are we shaped by our genes or by our environment? The debate extends even to the womb, where the chemistry of the fetal environment may play as much of a role in our development as the genes we inherit from our parents.
